Waybill

What is it?
The Waybill is the paper that accompanies all SDA shipments.
With the Waybill code we can give you information on the status of the shipment and, once it gets to its destination, the Waybill constitutes proof of delivery.
Each SDA service has its own specific Waybill, which we will give you when you subscribe.

How to fill it in?
Here is how to enter the main data:
• enter the number of parcels or items
• for the section on the sender enter: name, company name, full address with Zip code, telephone prefix and number
• specify the weight of the shipment
• specify the size of the shipment (if requested)
• for the section on the addressee enter: name, company name, full address with Zip code, telephone prefix and number and any other indication, e.g. staircase nr., flat number, name on intercom if different from addressee, possibly using the Notes field.

• once completed, sign the Waybill to accept the general terms of transport
• the addressee will also sign it by way of receipt at the time of delivery.
• N.B. for the COD Service, reserved for subscribers, it is necessary to give in the ad hoc space the amount in figures and letters, and how you wish to be paid: in cash, or cheque made out to the sender or to SDA.

The Waybill is not enough however.
The Waybill is not the only document you need for your SDA shipment.
If you are sending mail via courier, remember to stamp the envelope in accordance with existing postal regulations.
If you are sending parcels classifiable as goods you must also attach the transport document (Ddt, Documento di trasporto).
